Dear friends and relations,

We have had a good sabbath with Andrew. Tonight, one of his doctors came in and asked if he wanted to watch football. Those of you who know him well will not be surprised to hear that he made a terrible face! I've never been so glad to see a dirty look in all my life! My great friend Pam Womack is here for a few days to help in every way.

We have another very important prayer request. Our daughter Sarah is 6 months pregnant and has gallstones. She is in the hospital for observation and treatment for pain. Pray for her and "Baby Boy". The best answer to prayer would be to wait until after baby is born to do the surgery. Thank you for all of your prayers for my three loved ones.

Love,
Laura

Please tell Andrew that Glyn & Gladys Miller are praying for his healing. Please tell him that we read this scripture today and wanted to share it with him.

Isaiah 41:13 ASV: Fear thou not, for I am with thee; be not dismayed, for I am thy God; I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

We have been praying for Andrew to get well.
I had gallstones when I was pregnant with Robby and had them out some months after he was born. Everything went well - hope that will encourage Sarah in her struggle with gallstones.

My prayer group has been praying for Andrew and for all of you. Suzi sent me the blog address and I am so happy to have it, so I can give reports.
And now gallstones for Sarah!! Our Lord will not give you more than you can deal with.
Mother Teresa (now St Teresa of Calcutta) said "I know God will not give me anything I can't handle. I just wish that He didn't trust me so much." I imagine you can understand.

Tell Andrew I'm glad he didn't want to watch football! I played my banjo and read a good book last night and consider the time far better spent. Andrew and Sarah are on my mind every day. I keep you guys in prayer.

Hi Laura,
I read my post and realized I had typed the wrong number of the verse. It is actually Isaiah 41:10

Hello all. Please tell Andrew and Sarah and baby that the First Pres family in Columbia is praying for them and for all of you. Dr. Sinclair Ferguson asks about Andrew daily. :)

Much love and peace,
Lenora

Good going, Andrew! I sometimes feel the same about football, but have gotten to enjoy the few "big" ones that have local sympathy.
I continue to pray for you throughout the days, at odd moments as well as planned prayer times. You have a huge cheerleading group!
